ubuntu pro
現行の録画サーバは Ubuntu Server LTS 20.04。
最新のLTSは24.04がリリースされているが、安定稼働している録画鯖は先に挙げたように4年前のLTS20.04。 来年2025年にはLTSの通常サポートの5年間が終了する。
そこでUbuntu Pro。
パーソナルユースならフリーで登録可能で、登録するとサポート期限が10年間まで延長されるというのもの。 10年、これはかなりありがたい。
念の為、登録状況を確認してみた。

ところどころ「disabled」になっているが、通常使う分は大丈夫っぽく、Ubuntu Proはちゃんと登録されているらしい。
まだしばらくはOSの更新は要らないみたいだ。
